Additional Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn Information

Mad King Ashnard. His country of Daein suffers under the rule of the war's victors. Now, a small band of freedom fighters struggle to end the long, dark night of Daein's oppression. Micaiah, Sothe, and a host of others—the infamous "Dawn Brigade"—rally under the banner of Daein's long-lost prince to bring a new day to this ravaged land. Command the Dawn Brigade and learn the story of their struggle. Then, gain a new perspective by joining Ike and the Greil Mercenaries as they watch Daein's battles spread throughout all of Tellius! Shape your army to suit your strategy by choosing from dozens of unique characters. Will you use close-range attacks, like the brash Edward's sword, or will you attack from afar using Leonardo's bow or Ilyana's lightning magic? Build support relationships between your characters—as their relationships grow, so do their strengths as they fight together on the battlefield. Guide your army wisely, because if a character falls on the battlefield, he's lost forever! The best-selling strategy title makes its Nintendo Wii debut, with 16:9 widescreen support, newly added for the North American version, bringing you a truly epic experience.

What Customers Say About Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn:

If you want a game that will make you think, this is your game. As with every game in the series, this one's not quite like the others. That's not to say you shouldn't get it, but don't expect it to be easy. I am admittedly disappointed that they removed support conversations, but I am willing to forgive that.If you have not played a game in the series yet, this game will be a challenge.

If you have played any games in this series, especially if you have played the prequel (Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance), this game is for you. (also see Portal)As with all games in the series, this one is beautifully crafted, with characters that you will come to love, or hate, and a plot that keeps you guessing, but is also plausible. Alternatively, you could get one of the Fire Emblems for GameboyAdvance, or the aforementioned GameCube Fire Emblem. This game makes you think harder about the logistics of turn-based battle than any game I have ever played, with the possible exception of Fire Emblem 6. Remember Roy's game.

Even on Easy mode. This game provides an example for others to aspire to, in trying to establish the video game industry as a legitimate, respectable form of entertainment, and an art form. This one's just as hard, and much longer. It introduces new elements (third-tier promotion, armors/cavalry/mages split based on the weapons they use, many different leaders/lords, etc).

This is a great game. There are too many noobs who don't even play this game and give it a bad rating. This game is a sequel to Fire Emblem Path of Radiance and I like alot of characters from that game so it makes it double fun.The game has 30+ levels and you'll beat 10 levels in one sitting. There are about 50 other things you can do other then battle like making your own weapons, chosing who you want to use, etc. Sad. Anyway.

Although this allows the player to control multiple characters, it does make the story slightly disjointed and I am annoyed that I cant build up a character more thoroughly because I only control him/her for a chapter or two.Anyway its a great game that would have received a 5 if it had a little more polish. Nothing monumental. Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn offers terrific gameplay especially if you have already played Fire Emblem Path of Radiance (the story continues 3 years afterwards). Nintendo/Intelligent Systems should have fixed the occasional frame rate drop, added IR/pointer controls, and more cutscenes with better voice actors. just polish. The prior game was a tad bit easier so I was pleased to hear that this game offered "punishing" and/or "unforgiving" difficulty. Those reviewers probably only played the first few levels of the first chapter (which were admittingly tough) and then quit because as your characters level up and the battle victory terms change, the game eases up a little bit. Each chapter follows a concurrent storyline of different characters.

Highly recommeded. Fire emblem has out done itself from Game Boy Advance to Game Cube and now the Wii. Graphically superior and also gameplay mechanics and storyline just so much more interesting.

It's a good mix of role playing, strategy, and anime.Good story and good art (if you like anime) Excelent turn based role playing game.
